Damage Locations always follow the same pattern: front to back, top to bottom, left to right (as seen from driver??s seat), in an ??S? pattern, with locations for door handles and mirrors.
The last designation is currently the # of hours a part will need to be repaired to bring it up to a good condition. A credit card will be used to describe how large the spot of damage is.
An ??A? grade part is a part with 1 credit card damage or less. A ??B? grade part is a part with over 1 but not over 2 credit cards size damage; and over 2 credit cards damage will be a ??C? grade part.
Examples: ??2D1? is a one-unit dent in location 2. ??8S2? is a two-unit scratch in location 8. There may be a primary and secondary codes per part, as in ??2D1, 4S2?. A ??0? as a location indicates the entire panel, as in 0H4 (all over hail damage, 4 hours).
